Reading Comprehension Practice

Reading is the most efficient input a learner has. It moves at your pace, packs far more words per minute than most audio, and lets you sit with a sentence until it clicks. Read enough at the right level and vocabulary starts arriving on its own, absorbed from context instead of drilled. That's the quiet engine behind extensive reading: lots of text you can mostly follow, doing slow, steady work in the background.

The word "mostly" is doing a lot there. Reading practice pays off in a narrow band, roughly the comprehensible input zone where you understand most of a passage and have to work out the rest. A text with one hard word per page teaches you almost nothing new. A text with one hard word per line stops being reading and starts being decoding. Finding material that lands in that band, day after day, is the real difficulty.

Atlas Runa turns reading comprehension into a feed built around your level. Stories, articles, and series arrive already graded, so you're not hunting for something you can handle. Tap any word for its meaning plus how it's working in that exact sentence, then save it with one tap to your review. After a passage, comprehension questions check that you followed the meaning rather than just clearing your eyes over the words, since recognizing a sentence and understanding it aren't the same thing. A fresh personalized story each day even weaves in the words you're due to review.
